Environmental & Space-Condition Specialist

Own the environmental envelope of Sustaino-1: thermal-vacuum, vibration, radiation and outgassing analysis. Translate real orbital conditions into test plans that the flight model must survive.

  • Model LEO thermal cycling and radiation dose for a 1P PocketQube
  • Author environmental-test procedures (TVAC, random-vibe, shock)
  • Verify material outgassing and mechanical margins
  • Interface with launch provider (Alba Orbital) on environmental compliance

Data Integration & Ground Station Head

Own the end-to-end telemetry pipeline — from LoRa downlink at EAK-GS1 in Johannesburg to a queryable mission database and public dashboard.

  • Lead ground-station RF chain, Doppler correction and scheduling
  • Design the mission database schema and archive pipeline
  • Build the public telemetry dashboard and imagery viewer
  • Coordinate partner amateur-radio stations for extended coverage
